MLM Scams-Tales from the Darkside!

MLM Scams

MLM scams have run rampant over the years, causing a lot of people to be very wary and distrustful of the industry as a whole. An MLM scam is not the same thing as a pyramid, or ponzi scheme. Most MLM companies do offer real products and services, where the ponzi scheme, much like the cash gifting programs, offer nothing. In other words, you have people promoting a business to other people, being paid on that program, but receiving nothing of value. This of course is against the law, and the FTC will surely track down the perpetrators over time, and rid the undesirable elements from the Internet. Its important to know that conducting proper due diligence BEFORE joining any MLM business, is vitally important.

Most people who enter into an MLM business, simply do not take the time to view the policies and procedures of that company. They are excited about the products, and just want to get started immediately in making money with their new business. They soon find that reading the PAP should be the first step. This way, they are going to realize that the business may, or may not be for them.

Then you have the services like Scam.com and The Ripoff Report, who specialize in giving people the opportunity to voice their dismay and problems of their MLM company. In this author's opinion, the losers who use this technique have not spent any time actually learning how to market their business. They could have spent much more time in writing articles to promote their businesses, than using these less than appropriate services to tell the world that they are in fact, the losers of the Internet.

Another rather humorous aspect of Scam.com and The Ripoff Report is the fact that once an article is posted on a particular topic, it will always rise to the top of the keyword phrase on Google. I tend to look at this at non-productive search engine optimization services. The people who posted about themselves getting ripped off from an MLM business could have actually learned how to use REAL SEO techniques to market their business. Possibly they would then make sales, and all would be happy from that point.

MLM scam reporting on Scam.com can even go to the extreme level, and morons actually post their business opportunities there! If you are a big enough fool to think that posting to Scam.com is the way to build a business, then you will definitely fall quite easily into the 95% of people who make no money at all from the MLM business. If you are spending your valuable time condemning, criticizing and complaining about your business, then YOU are probably the one at fault. Scam.com and The Ripoff Report are definitely services NOT needed on Google! People need benefits and solutions to real marketing issues, and NOT the bitchers, moaners and whiners of the Internet!
